JM: Did you find it difficult to get along with other inmates? Please give examples to explain why you did or didn't. Rhett: No not really. It seemed like it was harder to
get along with the staff because of their
attitude. They didn't seem to care too much about
if you wanted food or phone calls.
JM: What types of things did you have to do to avoid problems or fights with other inmates? Rhett: First time I was in there were a couple of
Latinos who also got arrested and they got to
arguing over whose fault it was for getting
arrested. They went at it with other and the
guards rushed in an broke it up. I was just off
to the side minding my own business when this
JM: Were you able to choose an inmate as your cellmate if you knew one? How often would your cellmate(s) change? Rhett: There was nothing like that. I was put in the the
holding cell with about 20 other guys and that
was it and that was where I stayed.
